Charlemont:
Has approximately 8 miles of primitive trails, some areas are flat and easy going but there are some challenging hills and can be muddy in wet weather. Much of the trails are in the wooded areas with a few open meadow areas. There are hitching posts in a grassy area off from the gravel parking lot. A picnic area was added in 2005 with tables. There is no water available for horses or people and no facilities for restrooms. Adding to this trail system is in the plans for 2006.
