Lorain County OHC Members - Some reminders regarding upcoming events:

Check out RFD TV   - Tuesday, September 7, the BEST OF AMERICA RIDE airs on RFD TV - this is the segment that was filmed in our own Cleveland MetroParks and was sponsored by Cuyahoga County OHC - can be seen on Time Warner Channel 229, Direct TV Channel 345 or Dish Network Channel 231.

If you are one of the group going to the ride at Allegheny State Park. (September 24-26) - Don't forget to get your wellness certificate from your vet.  You will need to carry this when you travel in New York.  Also don't forget we have one spot that was donated back to the club.  This is all paid for we just need someone to use it.  It is not to late to get a coggins if you need it but you need to do it this week.  Any questions on that or about the weekend contact Nate at 440-610-9241.

Regional Ride - Coming up quick September 10-12.  Camping at Clare-Mar Lakes (for a small fee).  Poker ride starts at 10 am on Saturday (cost for a poker hand is $10), all participants should be back from the poker ride by 2 pm.  Pot Luck Dinner Sat.  promptly at 6:30.  Bring your own plates and utensils.  The music of LOGAN WELLS (www.loganwells.com) will be playing from 7-10 pm.  Also if you have a donation for the Chinese Raffle call Linda Wells at 440-351-9754 (Questions contact Nate at 440-610-9241).  Camping and day use fees are paid upon entering the park.

Next membership meeting is Monday, September 20 at 7:00.  It is back inside at Carlisle Visitor Center, Black River Room.  Main topic will be nomination of officers for the upcoming year.  Also, if you are interested in riding for a weekend or a day at a particular place, please bring that information (how many trail miles, how far from home, prices, maps, etc.) to the meeting as well so when our club sets down to consider where to go for next year we have that information on hand.
